Students currently enrolled in grades 5-11 from any recognized educational institution across India are eligible to participate in NOST. There are no restrictions based on board affiliation (CBSE, ICSE, State boards, etc.).

For Grade 5 to Grade 10, NOST covers Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mental Ability where as for Grade 11 NOST covers Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. The difficulty level and syllabus are aligned with the respective grade standards.

No, NOST registration is completely free. There are no application fees, exam fees, or any other charges associated with taking the test.

Yes, during registration you can select your preferred city and specific Orchids school branch. We recommend choosing the center closest to your location for convenience.

We are continuously expanding our network of test centers. If there's no center in your city currently, you can register for the nearest available center. We also consider opening new centers based on demand.

Bring a valid ID proof (school ID, Aadhar card, or passport), your NOST registration confirmation, black/blue pens, pencils, erasers, and a ruler. Electronic devices, calculators, and books are not allowed.
